Mammoth Site Excavation & Preservation Program 2015
The Mammoth Site is pleased to announce the upcoming 2015 Mammoth Site Excavation & Preservation Program! Two 14 day sessions are offered, running from late June 2015 to late July 2015.

The Mammoth Site is looking for enthusiastic potential participants to join us in discovering and preserving an ancient and extinct ecosystem! During your time with us, we will guide you in excavating and taking care of our fossil world, and take you on a journey through the Ice Age of the southern Black Hills and beyond. We want to offer you the opportunity to help us tell the story of this ancient world, by excavating and caring for everything from the largest mammoth to the tiniest fossils, such as prairie dogs, pond snails, and plant particles. This will be an experience where you can have a significant positive impact on one of the world’s greatest paleontological treasures!

Lodging, food, training, lectures, and field trips are provided by the Mammoth Site of Hot Springs, SD, Inc. Currently, minimum donations (to help pay for the program) are being calculated, so check back soon.

If you are interested in participating please email mammothsitenews@mammothsite.org.
Dates: June 28- July 11 session 1, July 12-25 session 2.
