The Mammoth Site® is going behind-the-scenes and showcasing our employees.

The Mammoth Site is going behind-the-scenes and showcasing our employees. We would like to introduce Bethany Cook, Public Relations Coordinator. September 2016 will mark 2 years at the Site for Bethany. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Communication with a focus in Public Relations from Chadron State College.

Bethany came to The Mammoth Site in 2014 as the Secretary and was promoted February 2016 to Public Relations Coordinator.

I was able to sit and interview Bethany and ask her some questions about her career at The Mammoth Site and her life outside the Site.

What is your favorite part about The Mammoth Site?

“That we are like family. We all work together and support each other.”

What do you enjoy most about your work?

“I get to be around mammoths all day. How cool is it that I get to work in a place that has such a historical and scientific significance to our past. I love seeing our visitor’s first impression when they walk in and see our mammoth replicas on display and they get to experience what I feel every day.”

What are your hobbies?

“I enjoy spending time with my family. I like to fish, refinish old furniture and garden. I also enjoy photography and doing graphic art.”
